Create

Every kind of content: link and text, Wi‑Fi network, business card (vCard), email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone, location, calendar event, SEPA payment (EPC QR, with IBAN check).
Design: 8 ready-made styles, dot and corner shapes, colors and gradients, your logo in the middle, a caption below or in a badge, rounded background.
Verified before you download it: every design is read back by a decoder, so you see Verified: it scans right away. You get a warning when the contrast is too low.
Export PNG and vector SVG for print, copy, print, share.
Batch: one line = one QR code, download them all as a ZIP.

Scan

From the open page (finds every visible QR code), from an image, from the clipboard (Ctrl+V) or with the camera of your computer or phone, with torch, sound and vibration.
Finds several codes in the same image, even very small ones.
Smart results: copy the Wi‑Fi password, save the contact, add the event, read the SEPA transfer.
Scam protection: deceptive links (addresses with “@”, look-alike characters, link shorteners) are flagged before you open them.

Permissions

Permission	Why
activeTab, scripting	Only when you click “This page” or “Scan QR codes on this page”: look for QR codes in the picture of the visible tab.
menus	The right-click entries (they can be turned off in Settings).
storage	Your settings and the optional local history.
clipboardWrite	Copy the generated image or text.

Source code

Plain, unminified source with no build step. The QR encoder (ISO/IEC 18004) is the add-on's own; the reader is based on jsQR (Apache 2.0). Download it from Files.
